A poem, without a name
Or a name for want of poem.
Which one a greater problem?
Perhaps the latter, perhaps
The Road Not Taken
Needs no further explanation,
And in just O Captain! My Captain!
The full fearful trip is done,
But what of the battle lost and won,
The rise and fall of Macbeth,
For When Shall the witches Meet Again,
If not for thunder, lightning, and rain.
I ask, once more,
What’s in a name?
A story perhaps
Incomplete.
Take away my name,
What story would I be?
