A pencil is all she needs to escape. It doesn’t matter where she is, or what she’s doing. Give her a pencil and she can create new images, new stories, new worlds in seconds. Her first draft is always rough. Then she improves on it, slowly building all the mistakes into the soon-to-be masterpiece. And when she finishes, not a line out of place, she has created something new, something no one has ever seen before. Yet the pencil does not stop. She will move on but she will not stop. Not until the pencil is finally gone and she is thrust back into the reality which she longs so desperately to escape.
